About the Role:
Join VENOUS TECHNOLOGIES INC as an X-ray Tech in Los Angeles, CA, where you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality imaging services to our client hospitals such as Kaiser Permanente and UC Systems. Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality X-ray imaging for diagnostic purposes.
- Prepare patients for radiographic procedures, ensuring comfort and understanding.
- Maintain and operate X-ray equipment in compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with physicians to interpret imaging results effectively.
- Document patient information and imaging results accurately in the system.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
- Assist in training new staff and interns on X-ray procedures and safety.
- Stay updated on advancements in radiology technology and best practices.
Requirements:
- Valid state certification and ARRT registration as an X-ray Technologist.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical or hospital setting.
- Strong understanding of radiographic techniques and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Proficient in using imaging software and electronic health records.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
Schedule:
- Day and Night Shifts available
- M-F
- Weekends as needed
License/Certification:
- ARRT (R) Certification
- CRT
- Fluoroscopy
- BLS Certification
- LA County Fire Safety Card
